Get Care at The Community Free Clinic
If you live in Cabarrus County and do not have health insurance, you may qualify for free medical care through The Community Free Clinic in Concord, NC. There is no charge for eligible patients.
We provide primary care and ongoing support for chronic conditions. We also coordinate specialty referrals through HealthNet Cabarrus, the county’s health safety net.

This program is for residents who live in Cabarrus County, are uninsured, and meet eligibility guidelines.
Households Up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level
The clinic follows income guidelines up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. For reference, this level is approximately $43,740 per year for one adult and approximately $90,000 per year for a family of four.
How to Get Care
Step 1: Confirm Eligibility
You may qualify if you live in Cabarrus County, are uninsured, and your household income is at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. You also must not qualify for Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits.

After you submit your application, an enrolement specialist reviews your information and contacts you with next steps. If anything is missing, we will tell you exactly what to provide.
HealthNet Cabarrus and the Pink Card Program
The Community Free Clinic serves as the enrollment hub for HealthNet Cabarrus. When you enroll, you receive the Pink Card.
The Pink Card connects eligible patients to participating providers across Cabarrus County through coordinated referrals. Depending on the service, patients may receive free or reduced cost care with participating providers.
