Volunteers

The Community Free Clinic’s depends on volunteers to provide clinical and pharmacy services to uninsured adults.

  • We need doctors,  nurses and lab technicians Tuesday nights from 6pm till 8:30pm.
  • We need pharmacists Tuesday nights from 6:30pm till 8:30pm.  You can earn contact CE’s for volunteering.
  • We need nurses on Thursdays from 9am till Noon OR from 1pm till 4pm.
  • Pharmacy and administrative support volunteers can help on Tuesday nights or during the day Monday through Thursday.
  • Finally, we are always seeking new Board Members and Special Event volunteers.

How to become a Volunteer at the Community Free Clinic

If you are a pharmacist, you can earn up to 5 contact CE hours each year by volunteering on a Tuesday night.  If you need more information call Karie Sturdevant at (704) 782-0650 ext. 225 or review our Pharmacist Volunteer Summary Sheet.

If you want to volunteer in a nursing or pharmacy role, then you must attend a thirty minute orientation before you can start volunteering.   The orientation sessions are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am or 5pm.  You can attend either session.  The sessions last about 30 minutes.
