Night Clinic |
- The Night Clinic is staffed by volunteer
physicians, nurses, pharmacists and lab technicians.
- This program operates on Tuesday and
Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
- The Night Clinic sees an average of 17
patients an evening – 400 new patients each year.
- New patients are taken on Tuesdays by
appointment only. (The appointment desk opens at 2:30 p.m.)
- Patients are Cabarrus County residents
without insurance and income < = 125% of Federal poverty.
- Patients are referred by NorthEast
Medical Center, area primary care physicians, Cabarrus Health
Alliance, Department of Social Services, Cooperative Christian
Ministry, etc.
- The Clinic provides free lab tests with
LabCorp donating processing.
- Specialty referrals and diagnostic
referrals to the hospital are available.
- Follow-up on lab results and referral
reports are provided by staff physician, Dr. Wayne Phillip.
- Staffed by volunteer physicians,
nurses, pharmacists, lab technicians

Chronic Clinic |
- Staff physician treats diabetics,
hypertensives, and other complicated patients.
- Patients are referred to this
program from the Night Clinic by volunteer physicians.
- There is one day clinic and one
night clinic per week. (Approximately 70 patients are in this
program.)
- The Clinic provides free lab tests
with LabCorp donating processing.
- The Chronic Care Program is staffed
by a part-time Internal Medicine physician and a part-time RN, as
well as volunteers.
- Specialty and diagnostic referrals
are available.

Pharmacy for Community Care Plan
Patients |
The
Community Care Plan Pharmacy Program was established in 2001 and
provides medications to patients seen as charity care by area
physicians. Physicians see these patients in their offices and the
Clinic provides the necessary medications. Currently, 550 patients
receive their medication from this program.
