The year end newsletter for the Community Free Clinic is now available. This is the “big one” that comes out each year with recognition of all of our donors, sponsors and volunteers. There is also an article about who the Clinic serves in this edition.

Fall Events for Community Free Clinic

The 10th Annual Festival of Tables is quickly approaching. Be sure to sign up for either a table or a basket by September 16th at www.CommunityFreeClinic.org/events/festival-of-tables. You can also attend the event this year as a guest without a host or hostess if you want to join us that way. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 7th from 11am till 1:30pm at First Assembly’s Village – Suite 15. Thanks again to our generous sponsors:

The first sprint triathlon to be held in Cabarrus County is scheduled for Sunday, October 23rd. The net proceeds from this event will be shared with the Community Free Clinic to help us Keep People Healthy. Sign up today for the Reflex Sprint Triathlon at www.setupevents.com by choosing “Other Events.” The triathlon will start and finish at the Sportscenter in Concord on Country Club Drive. Cost is $65 per participant or $95 per relay team and the start time is 8am. Be sure to sign up early to get a t-shirt. If you have any questions about the event you can email Jeff@ReflexInternational.org for more information. This is a great way to stay healthy and support the mission of the Community Free Clinic. Get Ready for 10th Annual Festival of Tables!

It’s hard to believe with all of this hot weather, but we will soon be gearing up for the 10th Annual Festival of Tables event. Start planning your table or basket today!!

The event is scheduled for Friday, October 7th at The Village, Suite 15 . We are developing new ways to sign up on our website during August. Be sure to check out the next e-newsletter on September 1st for all of the details.

2011 Summer Newsletter for Community Free Clinic

Ducktona Dash Countdown!!

The Ducktona Dash is almost here…Saturday, June 4th at Camp Spencer Park. The fun will start at 10am and the rubber duck race will be at Noon. Come out and enjoy the Kids Zone, 26 arts and crafts vendors, visit our sponsors and enjoy some food too. Lucky Duck will be there along with the Ducktona Dash mascot. It’s going to be a great day for the ducks to be in the water. Come and watch 4,000 rubber ducks race to the finish line! First prize is $750, second prize is $500 and third prize is $250. We also have another 25 + prizes to give away to winning ducks.

It’s not too late to adopt your ducks. Ducks will be available the day of the event or you can go to www.CabarrusMOW.org and adopt ducks with a secure Paypal account. Ducks are also available on the clinic’s website at www.CommunityFreeClinic.org.
