Thank you for considering volunteering

We know that your time is precious, and want you to gain as much from volunteering as we get from your valuable time. As our volunteer, you are a member of a dedicated team that provides the highest quality of care and services to the uninsured and low-income residents of Cabarrus County. With the gift of your time, talent, and personal interest in serving the community, you supplement the work of our staff to provide the many services our patients and their families rely on.

Long-term volunteering

If you can commit time regularly, we are searching for a volunteer that can help our head Food Pharmacy Volunteer to source, pack, and give low-salt and low-fat foods to our patients, and a volunteer who can help us input data about our volunteers for grants, and medical support for our day and night clinics.

Medical support volunteers must be: Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Doctors (MDs). We do have opportunities for those in school for licensure.

One-time/occasional volunteering

We always need support if you can offer your time occasionally!  Copying/filing charts, working with software, scanning information into our electronic database, welcoming new patients to our enrollment area, and supporting our community outreach events are all ways that volunteers support our mission.
